Holy crap Batman! That looks damn impressive!!!! Very Chronicles of Riddick-like in how gritty it is.

Agreed, this looks very sweet indeed. I hope they nail the controls and combat as they seem to have the graphics and atmosphere looking very impressive.

I have to agree, it is looking pretty damn good. Hopefully they nail the investigationing elements so that they're more fulfilling than Condemned (though they were the best parts of Condemned 2)

I pray that this game does not suck!!!

Why is Arkam Asylum full of random thugs? Did they break in to Arkam?

Perhaps they're trying to break the other guys out?

this looks awesome, the only thing im depressed about, is Batman looks lame in the comic book style suit. I know thats the point, but it would have looked so much better if it was one of the more recent movie suits.

I disagree. The Jim Lee designs look fantastic.

This is really shaping up nicely. The suit's a good mix of comic and movie style, but I really wish they'd done the eyes properly. Batman needs to have terrifying, glowing, angry white slits for eyes; when you can see his normal human eyes under the mask it makes him significantly less imposing. If they can do it in the movie they can do it in the game.

Arkham's full of goons because that's where they send anyone too crazy for Gotham prison. Technically it's just a mental hospital, but anyone over a certain craziness level, or a villain with special needs (i.e. Mr Freeze) gets sent there.

But the goons are never sent there, they're just sent to regular prison because they're just hired goons not actually insane. I mean there are plenty of weird wack jobs that arn't regular Bats villians in there but those are just like stock joker goons.

Just in case you missed it.

I'm just making up this story from what I've seen of the game so far, I think Joker got taken to Arkham but before they could lock him up properly his goons freed him and now they've taken over Arkham for some reason

I'm positive that various suits will be unlockable in the game (it would be a first for a superhero game if this option wasn't present), so I wouldnt be so worried about that.

Storywise, it seems that these goons may be here to spring their boss(es), from the looks of the clown paint adorning some of them. Or on the flipside, instead of leaving Arkham, it makes sense to take it over and use it as a base of operations perhaps?

I'll certainly need a 360, PS3 or new PC to run this sexy beast!
