Tomb Raider: Underworld DLC arrives next week

360 News | Another chapter of the Lara Croft saga to debut next week.

Eidos has announced that the somewhat delayed DLC Beneath the Ashes - the first of two downloadable episodes for Tomb Raider: Underworld - will be arriving next week.

The news was broken via the official Tomb Raider forums with Eidos' Jason Walker advising gamers that "Beneath the Ashes has passed all testing at Microsoft and has been given a confirmed release date of the 24th February 2009."

Beneath the Ashes will retail for 800 Microsoft points and is said to be accompanied by a large patch that many tweaks and bug fixes to resolve several issues that have plagued the title since release.

The second downloadable chapter, Lara's Shadow, promises to give players the opportunity to take a "new" playable character for a test drive. Lara's Shadow is currently still on track for release on March 10.

Is it too much to hope the PS3 version will see a trophy patch at the same time?????

^^ I wouldn't be surprised if it did come next week. The trophy patch was announced a couple weeks back now, and it'd give Eidos an excuse to say "well, PS3 owners got exclusive DLC too..."
