Gamers go crazy for Modern Warfare 2

360 News | Multi-million seller in less than 24 hours.
In case you needed proof that gamers worldwide are going nuts for Activison's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, then the company has issued a press release revealing the game has sold more than 4.7 million units.

The figure is based on sales in the UK and North America, and was reached in a mere 24 hours since Modern Warfare 2's launch on 10 November. This means that the game has had the biggest launch in history across all forms of entertainment, according to Activision, and has generated an estimated sell-through sales of US$310 million in the UK and North America.

With the game still in its first week of release and sales numbers still to come from around the globe, it seems like things won't be slowing down for quite some time. PALGN will be publishing its review of Modern Warfare 2 in the next few days.

Not saying there is anything wrong with sequels. MW2 is great. Just hate how big activisions ego has exploded. MW2 would still be great if Ubisoft published it, its IW that deserve the praise not activision.
