No More Heroes heading to PS3 and Xbox 360

360 News | 'No More' Heroes for the Wii.
It was confirmed yesterday that former Wii exclusive action game, No More Heroes, is indeed going to head to other consoles next year.

The game will be ported to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It will feature improved HD graphics and other bonus content and visual upgrades. The port is set for a February 2010 release in Japan. There is currently no word on an English language release.

You can check here for the first set of screen shots that were released yesterday and you can also read our full review of the Wii version here.

Awesome. If the extra content is worth it, I wouldn't mind buying it again. No More Heroes is a great game.

I'll be doing the same since the original was amazing :D

Although, how will the sales go if it does get released in the west?

one of the greatest games ever. Anyone who hs not played it you should. Why not just release number 2 instead of a remake?

Because that would be a real slap in the face for Wii gamers.

I personally think this is a pretty good idea. The Wii controls were well thought out, but they aren't crucial to the game, and it blends in stylistically with the two 'next-gen' consoles. I can't really think of a reason why this would be a bad thing.

I was always interested in this game, but I just can't make myself put money down for Wii games these days. Hopefully it gets an uncensored Australian release.

dude trust me the game is worth every cent and is cheap now. It reminds me more of a 360/ps3 game han a wii games i understand what u mean. Pretty sure i read on ign or something that this would stay on wii because they liked the controls or something. This game cna be done on non montion controller no problem. I cant stress enough how much you should buy this game lol

I'm guessing this will be one of the first titles to utilise the PS3/360 new 'motion' type controls when it is released.

Awesome! This game (aside from Madworld....... Madworld port, please?) was pretty much the only reason I regretted trading in my Wii, but this is great news!

I do wonder who's handeling this, if it's Grasshopper directly or if Marvelous are the ones doing it. If it's Marvelous then it's probably there call and we may not see the game outside of Japan, and depending on sales may not see the sequel ported.

why wouldn't they release the game outside of japan? it seems like all localisation/translation stuff has basically been done, not to mention that most of the sales will come from the us/europe.
