Xbox Live Deal of the Week - 30/11/09

360 News | Jump through those rings of joy.
It's Monday (or early Tuesday morning for Australians) again, which means a new Deal of the Week has started on the Xbox Live Marketplace. This week, the Arcade game Sonic the Hedgehog 2 has been reduced to 240 Microsoft Points (approximately AUD $3.96), a saving of 40%.

Perhaps one of the most popular Sega Mega Drive titles ever made, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 once again sees the blue blur defend the Earth against his nemesis Dr. Eggman (or Dr. Robotnik as he was known back in the day). The game introduced Tails as a playable character, as well as Sonic’s Super Spin Dash and Super Sonic abilities. Unlike the version that’s included in Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection, there are also online leaderboards.

Please remember that all Deal of the Week specials are exclusive to Xbox Live Gold subscription holders.

Still have my original genesis copy sitting on a shelf. Definitely the best sonic game ever in my opinion.
