Dante's Inferno demo on the way
360 News | PS3 owners going to Hell first.

If you like your Christmas cheer and goodwill to be balanced out by hellfire and brimstone, EA have got you covered, announcing that a demo of the intriguing Dante's Inferno will be downloadable for both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 before the year is out. The Playstation Network will be seeing the game first, however, when the demo appears on December 10. Xbox 360 owners won't have their chance to sample the game's hellish wares until December 24. What better way to kill time while waiting for Santa?
Loosely based on the 'Inferno' part of Dante Alighieri's classic 14th Century poem The Divine Comedy, Dead Space developer Visceral Games are looking to put the nine Circles of Hell in a whole new light. The player takes on the role of Dante, looking to save his beloved Beatrice. The demo is set to cover the game's first level, based on the gates of hell.
EA also announced that the game's European release date would be brought forward to 5 February 2010, but it has not been confirmed that this will affect the Australian release date, currently set for 11 February 2010.
