Xbox Live Deal of the Week - 14/12/09

360 News | Holiday specials also announced.
It's Monday (or early Tuesday morning for Australians) again, which means a new Deal of the Week has started on the Xbox Live Marketplace. This week, the Lips DLC Coldplay Song Pack has been reduced to 240 Microsoft Points (approximately AUD $3.96), a saving of 50%.

Coming in at 229 MB, the Coldplay Song Pack adds the songs ‘In My Place’, ‘Speed of Sound’ and ‘The Scientist’ to your Lips library. As with most music games on the Xbox 360, Microsoft reminds players that several songs are available as single items in addition to the song packs, so make sure you’re not downloading the same song(s) twice before purchasing.

In other Marketplace news, Microsoft has revealed their holiday line-up for the Deal of the Week specials. For the week of 21 December players will be able to download Shadow Complex for 800 Microsoft Points, while the week of December 28 will see the arcade title The Maw reduced to 400 Microsoft Points. For those who are curious, we will still be posting our weekly Deal of the Week articles as a little reminder of what’s on sale.

Finally, Microsoft has also announced from 18 December until 31 December it will be having Holiday Specials on selected Marketplace items every day. However, rather than announce what will be on special they’re insisting gamers check the Marketplace each day to find out what’s on sale.

Please remember that all Deal of the Week specials are exclusive to Xbox Live Gold subscription holders.

Shudder. There is no good price for Coldplay.

Oh nice almost missed the Shadow Complex price reduction. I'll be picking that up next week.
