Tons of AA so no doubt bullshots, since thats all Ubisoft ever release. Looks good regardless. Hopefully the PC version stands up.

How many colours can you count in that second picture?
Green.
Red.
And a whole lot of khaki brown of various shades?

Good to see they've still got their "magic" lights that apparently no enemy in the game can see. Shame, I actually thought they may have gone the realistic route for a change.

Yay, split screen. The reason I owned Double Agent on the 360 and the Wii. Always been a fan of Splinter Cell, cause I love stealth, so I hope this game is still stealthy.

Yeah, that is kind of odd, but I find it more annoying that you can stand inches away from an enemy while Sam is speaking to Lambert, or whoever else, without them noticing. It's like every bad guy is deaf, and I find that more of an immersion killer.

Escapist fun > Forced 'realism'

Plus the head light serves as a logical gameplay design of always being able to identify the location of Sam in the darkest locations.

I'm with EC. They're necessary concessions to make the game actually fun to play. If it was hyper-realisitic then you'd be able to do virtually nothing in the game. All of that sneaking around really wouldn't be possible at all if enemies had great hearing and top notch vision.

Split screen vertical rather than horizontal? That's unusual these days.
I hope you can choose horizontal. I would have thought you would need the lateral visibility for this game.

Except in the first few games most of the lights were a result of his headgear... the one with the night vision. I'd rather throw it on to be able to see than stare at a dot on the screen.

Yeah, but Double-Agent and Conviction for at least some scenes, they weren't an option. The designers needed to figure out another way to play it. It's an acceptable break from reality to me.
