Nier is developed by Cavia, who are known for the cult Drakengard series and the Xbox 360 game, Bullet Witch. The game revolves around Nier, who is hell bent on fighting the forces of evil to find a cure for his daughter, who suffers from the Black Scrawl disease.
"Nier fuses fast-paced action with a mature and mysterious narrative. The game sees a new direction for Square Enix and one that will appeal to action, adventure and RPG fans. We look forward to its release across PAL territories," said Larry Sparks, Vice President for Square Enix PAL Region Brands.
