Pure Futbol arriving in May

360 News | Soccer gets a little boom boom pow.
Fans of the world game will have a new title to check out in a few months with Ubisoft announcing their new soccer title Pure Futbol in recent days.

Dropping the traditional eleven-on-eleven format, Pure Futbol will instead feature five-on-five football action with an over-the-shoulder camera view and a credo of "no referees, no rules - just soccer" with the game's emphasis said to be on "the intense, physical and spectacular aspects of the sport."

Pure Futbol will feature 230 of the world's most elite soccer players, 17 international teams, and 17 legendary players. Players will also get the opportunity to create their own custom player and compete in single-player and mulitplayer (both online and offline) game modes.

You can take your first look at the title with the annoucement trailer and screenshots below. Pure Futbol is set to invade the pitch on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this May.

It looks cool and all but no matter how many cool features this has, it just depends on the quality of the game mechanics. Who is developing this? Ubisoft themselves or another company?
