I agree. I personally thought he looked a bit like John Morrison from WWE

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.... Game looks FANTASTIC, definately a first day buy for me since they said they're going back to PoP Sands of Time version of the Prince

Good to see they are going back to sands of time. I didn't really like the 2008 game.

To be honest, before seeing this video, I wasn't really looking that forward to this game. It was still on my radar seeing as the PoP series (particularly Sands of Time) are one of my favourite game franchises, but I did have some fears it wouldn't be a top quality game (though not necessarily because it's seemingly rushed to shelves in time for the movie). But damn, the gameplay looks awesome. And I'd only just seen a couple God of War 3 reviews beforehand. I really like the pausing time mechanic, to make water 'freeze' so that you can climb it or do wall jumps off it. I can't wait for this now. Hopefully the film will be good too.

I am loving how this looks. I won't lie, although I enjoyed it, the 2008 game left me a little disappointed, so seeing that the setting and gameplay has gone back to the trilogy fills me with joy. And I really hope everyones favourite archer makes an appearance.

And hopefully the ability to die comes back.

Element powers look good in action. Although the prince looks a bit like the Missing Link in some of those screens.

wow, I originally wasn't gonna bother with this but that just got my interested

That's how you show off a game. I went from having no cares in my cup to pencilling it in for a Day One purchase.

I'm still not taken with the art style, though. I wish they'd gone with the classic Prince design: white Hammer pants, maybe a sash, call it a day. The overdesigned Warrior Within bondage gear just dredges up bad memories. And the game's animations just don't seem very Prince of Persia-y to me. In Sands of Time the camera was always pulled out a bit further, and the Prince was always a bit more twinkle-toed, like he always took a few more steps than he needed to. This Prince just looks heavier, less athletic. More realistic, to employ my least favourite word in gaming.

Still, the platforming looks great, the water freezing mechanic is brilliant. I'm going to buy the hell out of it.

I'm not sold yet, looks too heavy on combat judging by that clip. All the platforming it showed was pretty basic stuff by PoP standards.

I'm going to remain reserved.

It looks good! I only played the newest Prince of Persia game, I haven't played any from the old trilogy yet. But I will try and catch up and play the older games and then play this when it comes out icon_biggrin.gif I love games that let me do acrobatics

Hopefully Yuri Lowenthal's back to do the Prince's voice. It was hard to tell from what little the Prince spoke during the clip.

Maybe i'll ask Yuri about it when he's here for Supanova next month icon_biggrin.gif

Maybe they'll get Jake Gyllenhall to do it.
