Sonic Adventure release date announced

360 News | Some half remembered dream.

We revealed a couple of months ago that SEGA was planning to reignite the Dreamcast fire by porting fan favourite titles over to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and today we finally have a release date. At least for one of them.

Gamerzines has confirmed that the Dreamcast release of Sonic Adventure will be hitting the Xbox Live Arcade platform on 15 September, priced at a grand total of 800 Microsoft Points (AU$13).

Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi, and all other Dreamcast ports were confirmed by SEGA to be heading to the PlayStation Network as well, but we are yet to get confirmation as to whether or not the September date for Sonic Adventure spans across both platforms.

I know I'll get this and be really dissapointed with it. I just know it.

I mean I'm a sucker for Sonic games so there's no real doubt that I'll buy it, but I'm not going to enjoy it...

Yeah and I loved it the first time I played it on dreamcast back in primary school. But I know it's not going to have aged well.

Yeah yeah, totally knew that. Same thing as Benza, not sure if Nostalgia alone will keep this game great.
