Monster Madness Revealed

360 News | Artificial Studios to bring third-person shooter to Xbox 360 and PC.
Artificial Studios has today announced Monster Madness, a third person, top-down shooter in development for the Xbox 360 and PC.

In Monster Madness, gamers will resume their role as one of four kids who were expecting to throw a harmless house party when their parents were away. Unfortunately, their party is crashed by a horde of bloodthirsty monsters. The game plays from a top-down perspective as the game’s heroes fight through thick and thin on foot and in vehicles to blast the brains out of the gate crashing monsters.

Armed to the teeth with shotguns, pistols and a baseball bat, the four characters will battle through five environments including a local high school and shopping mall. Monster Madness enables up to 4-player Co-op and online play, and will also allow gamers to be equipped with a diverse range of vehicles and equipment throughout the game.

Monster Madness is scheduled to be released in Q1 2006. In the meantime, be sure to check out the first screenshot and development art via our media panel. And remember kids, always lock your doors when uninvited guests try to crash your parties.

Looks kind of like that freeware title Crimsonland. Just hope we don't suffer from mass zombie overkill in the early months of the Xbox 360 - this is the third or fourth title with large numbers of onscreen zombies, but I guess the art style (which I kinda like) differentiates it from the other, more serious titles.

Yes there is some sort of Zombie-mania going on at the moment.
