Burnout Revenge announced for Xbox 360

360 News | Rockstar aren't the only ones telling lies...
EA today announced that Burnout Revenge will see a release on the Xbox 360 after all. Despite EA's previous denial, an EA spokesperson has confirmed the title is in development for the 360, and will see a release in 2006 - we can never get enough of the old flip flopping.

No other details were included in the admission, but it is likely the game will include improved resolution, graphic detail and other enhancements. EA are also likely to include some specific features for the Xbox 360 version.

With this announcement it is likely the first images will filter out shortly. When they do, we'll report back.

A current generation game on a next generation console. I would be interesting to see what Criterion do the 360 version to make a Xbox owner decide on getting that instead. It couldn't be a graphical overhaul, could it?

I'm more worried about the DJ. What a tool. Lucky you could turn that guy off.

"I'm DJ Striker dudes, filling up the waves with sick trax to blow yo mind. Word. Check it, what, Uh-huh. YEEEAAAAAH!"

Okay so he never said that, but it was horribly embarrassing anyway. I strangely grew used to the music. What other style could they have used for this type of gameplay? (P.S I hate punk rock)
