Valve working on Xbox 360 title

360 News | Though won't say what.
Undeterred by the underwhelming commercial performance of Half-Life 2 on the original Xbox, developer Valve has declared that it currently has an Xbox 360 game in the pipeline. No light has been shed on the mystery title, though we have been informed in a press release from the company that it will use a customised version of the Source engine seen in Half-Life 2.

Valve president Gabe Newell was also on hand to get all enthusiastic about re-entering development for consoles, pointing out that, "Whether developing a traditional FPS, RTS, RPG or delving into new genres, the Xbox 360 is a great platform for expanding Source and our game experiences." Anyway, as night follows day, the chances of there being something on this at E3 are as good as certain. Until then, while away the minutes by reading our review of the excellent Half-life 2 on the Xbox.
