On to that fancy new technology, then. The first bit is called eurphoria, bought to the game by the folks at NaturalMotion. This piece of tech enables all computer controlled characters to react differently to everything, everything. There are no animation sequences of the sort, apparently - knock an opponent down, and he will fall struggle for balance, then fall down differently each time. Same thing when getting up, too. All characters will react different depending on their environment at the time. It's incredibly ambitious, and we can't wait to see it in action.
Then there's the Hot Set technology, which makes all environments completely destructable and interactive, allowing for some creative methods of disposing of Indy's adversaries. Sounds good, eh?
The game itself is still a far way off, though. Don't expect to see it until well into next year. In the meantime, you can have a look at the screenshots in our media panel, or view the trailer at the official website here.
