Ultimate MK3 and Tony Hawk demo officially on the marketplace

360 News | This time it's for real.
It's been a hell of a week for the live arcade. On Wednesday, Lumines Live was released on the marketplace. Then yesterday, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 was released and then pulled soon after. Now, finally, the promised demo for Tony Hawk's Project 8 is available on the marketplace, as is the Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 live arcade game.

The Tony Hawk's Project 8 demo comes in at 342meg. The demo is a timed demo (so you'll be booted back to the start screen after 10 minutes), you're basically free to roam around and complete tricks at your own leisure.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat III features 22 playable characters, the game is basically a direct arcade port and features all the fatalities, brutalities friendships and babalities that you remember. The game also includes online support so you can show off your skills online.

According to Major Nelson some people are having issues with both the demo and Ultimate Mortal Kombat III, so if you're having troubles downloading either of these pieces then sit tight, all will be fixed shortly.

I might give this a miss, i've got plenty to play in the meantime, and the full Tony Hawk game is out in a couple of weeks (well, 4). I already plan on buying the game, although i spose if i find i don't like it and i could have played the demo first, i'll only have myself to blame icon_razz.gif
