New Rally-X released on Xbox Live Arcade

360 News | Thrilling.
Not happy with the socks from nana or the boxer shorts from your aunties? Well, Microsoft have come to the rescue with the release of New Rally X for the Xbox Live arcade. (Tumbleweed)

For the princely sum of 400 Microsoft points you can download the game, as with all Xbox Live Arcade titles there are achievements to be unlocked and a demo can be downloaded. The game includes new features, such as the lucky flag, which awards you points depending on your remaining fuel.

Those socks don't look so bad right now do they?

I get the feeling you aren't to impressed with this New Rally, what ever the hell it is.

Wiki says it's a Maze game, with the added extra of fuel.

It was playable on Ridge Racer (PSP) if that helps?
Fun little game, but I don't think I'll be laying down points for it.

Yeah, that'd be it icon_smile.gif

Well that was 'Rally X' anyway, not sure how different 'New Rally X' is though.

Xbox Live Aracade has seriously been the biggest gaming let-down of the year. I have barely touched it since it opened with Uno and Geometry Wars.

Absolutely pathetic!!! Honestly Xbox Live Arcade has been a huge joke for me and Rally-X further proves this!

Microsoft you are absolute morons....with the release of the Nintendo Wii along with it's Virtual Console you would think they would atleast try and release games that's are a little newer and were maybe bigger hits? But nope...they're content to churn out the pac-mans and the galagas....I mean who still plays this crap?!? You can get games exactly like them but the graphics actually change as you progress now, why would you even play these games for free let alone pay $7.50!?!?!? Arrgghh!! It's insanity....the stupid idiot who is choosing the Live games should be tortured and then hanged! What an absolute fool!

Virtual Console games are also expensive but you know what? Nearly every single game on there imo is more desirable than the Xbox Live Arcade stuff! I mean this is beyond a joke! Why don't they release a weekly/monthly poll with options on what Xbox Live Arcade game US gamers would like to see on there? What's so hard about that? Put it on the official xbox 360 website and you'll get thousands of responses, and then get to work on emulating whichever game tops the charts. The Virtual Console has so many systems there is always gonna be something I like, but Xbox Live only gets 1 game a week so they better make that game something really special.

It's not early days, it's been over a year since the thing has been out in america!

Those games you listed are ok....but only 2 of them interest me....MK3 (and small arms)....but the controls on that are stuffed. Doom....why would you even play this in light of all the new fps out there? That release imo was a joke!! Cloning Clyde.....I don't even know why this exists? Why couldn't they have brought out Wonderboy or something instead of this? Lumines is a ripoff!! If it was more reasonably priced (or if you atleast got a full game) then it would be alright.

I spose its all opinion but I absolutely loved playing Doom again - I hadnt played it since I was a kid. Actually Doom entertained me more than alot of my real 360 games did icon_lol.gif

Yeah it has been a year hey... But still like I said the development kit is out hopefully there will be some more quality coming soon. And is it just me or is Live growing much faster now? there seems to be new games and content every week now..

Like I said Xbox Live Arcade is a joke for me, Super Castlevania IV just came out on Virtual Console....I think i'll go download that. All the games on Xbox Live put together don't even come close to the awesomeness that is SCIV!

I think you're right about the releases being more frequent however....last week we got 2 pieces of sh!t instead of 1....so that's something (novadrome and star trek legacy).

Microsoft better pull their finger out in the Arcade department!

Yeah I havent got my 360 atm but it seems there becoming very frequent. And about Live Arcade am I right in saying Symphony of the Night is coming to 360 soon? that was my fave Castlevania by far icon_razz.gif

Yea that imo is definately something that should pull Live Arcade out of it's slump...but it needs more, stuff like Metal Slugs, some of the newer Street Fighters like Alpha or even part III (yea right). How about Virtua Tennis? That would be great online. I just think they really need to exploit the features of Live while things a new to convince and attract more people. Rally-X is a joke, it doesn't even take advantage of any of the features Live Arcade brings.....no online and it basically looks the same in HD or SD....it's just a quick/cheap money making scheme for Microsoft.
