Star Wars: The Force Unleashed delayed until 2008

360 News | There is a great shift happening.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has been delayed to Quarter 2, 2008. When the game was announced just a few short weeks ago, it was claimed the title would be out in November.

No official reason for the delay yet, but with the game set for release on the PlayStation 2, Lucasarts will be keen to get the title out before the console loses popularity.

One less awesome 360 title for this year. Doesn't matter, it being released around GTA and Halo, it was gonna lose anyways.

I generally don't rely on release dates until the game is finished. If a dev states that their game is finished before it ships, sure. Otherwise, expect delays. I wonder how many people will be surprised if Mass Effect or Halo 3 are delayed? At least they'll be good when they are released, I don't want games rushed out like KOTOR2 which was only 3/4 finished.

^ If recent word from GDC is anything to go by, then Mass Effect is essentially finished and is just getting optimised before it releases. So we should be all playing it within 2, maybe three months time. Bring it on I say!
