Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway shoots into view

360 News | With some new screens.
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway was first announced way back in April last year. Since then information on the game has been scarcer than World War II first person shooters. Wait, since then information on the game has been scarcer than hen's teeth; yes, that's much better.

Like a school girl who simply cannot hold onto a secret for any longer Ubisoft has blurted out new information on Hell's Highway. Much like the previous two Brothers in Arms titles, Hell's Highway puts a large emphasis on taking control of your squad. The game focuses on Operation Market Garden which was of course the largest airborne operation ever executed. The overall direction of the game will be overseen by soldier and military author, John Antal, in order to give the game authenticity.

The conventional health system has been revamped. Gone is the health bar that can be routinely replenished with health packs and canteens and gone is the regeneration system that leaves you as good as new, despite the hits. The new system is more along the lines of alerting the player to danger. The bullets in this game, will hurt and kill on impact. So, the screen will progressively turn red as the danger you being hit increases. This alerts the player to the fact that they need to find cover, or end up dead.

Overall, Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway looks to be shaping up rather well indeed. Stay tuned to PALGN as we'll have a more indepth preview on the game later in the week.
