Star Wars: The Force Unleashed teaser trailer revealed

Lucasarts has sent through the E3 teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, a game that takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. The game is coming to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PSP and the Nintendo DS.

In The Force Unleashed players will take on the role of Darth Vader's secret apprentice, Dreb Fiadrok. You'll be sent across the galaxy to destroy all of the remaining Jedi.

The trailer can be viewed below and comes in at 15MB.

This looks cool, but I hope they don't neglect to include limb severage. That is just as cool as force powers.

cool trailer.

it's funny because there were quite a few shots in the trailer that were shown as concept art at the Go3 conference earlier in the year.

the game looks like awesome fun, i just hope that the lore isn't as butchered as the whole premise makes out.

Something is very underwhelming about that trailer. I absolutely love the concept, but to see it played out, it just doesn't look that good.

Maybe its the shoddy animation and explosions or the fact that all you see is stormtroopers getting thrown around, I don't know.

And if he's a sith apprentice, why are stormtroopers his prey?

Starting to feel that I'm gonna be disappointed by all this..

Trailer does look awesome and whilst the story doesn't seem that consistent with the movies, it sounds like a lot of fun.

I agree. It would be a disappointment if a PC version was never released. As far as Stormtrooper presence goes, it seems that the apprentice of Darth Vader could be a party that is somewhat less than authorised by the Emperor. Hence a being of such vast power would inevitably come to the Empire's attention.. what with his destructive nature and all.

Thinking about the gameplay mechanics, I think the game would have grown dull quickly if all you did was fight Jedi alongside a battallion of troopers to aid you.
