The first taste of Australia that gamers will get is when they come to customising their car. The game allows you to customise your number plate and amongst the number plate country choices is Australia. This means the car you've customised can feature a New South Wales numberplate. The Sydney representation doesn't stop there, with a drift track named the Phantom taking place in Sydney. The track is set in a fictional realisation of Sydney, so you'll be drifting right around the Opera House and if you take your eyes off the road for a few seconds you'll even get a glimpse of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Hot Import Nights utilises a driver DNA system, where every move you make in the game is tracked to make up your player's DNA. The driver DNA for Australian drift champion Beau Yates has been loaded into the game, which means players can download Beau's DNA and then race a digital version of him offline. We'd probably suggest getting some drifting practice in before this though, as we imagine drifting against Beau Yates won't be a walk in the park. The game also features some Australian vehicles, which should get petrolheads nice and excited, such as the Ford Falcon XR8.
The Australian content in Hot Import Nights is unprecedents. With Australian number plates, as well as a Sydney based track, Aussie vehicles and the ability to download the drive DNA for Australian drift champion Beau Yates, we're pleased Australia gets such a large representation in Juiced 2. So if you've ever been stuck in traffic in Sydney and just wondered what it would feel like to go drifting around the Opera House then Hot Import Nights has the answer, just make sure it stays in game and not in rush hour traffic.
