WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 demo released

360 News | Ready to download now.
THQ has announced that a playable demo of their annual wrestling game WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008, is now available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 1.2GB.

A month or so prior to the games release, players who download the demo will get to choose out of 4 superstars: Rey Mysterio, Bobby Lashley, The Undertaker and Randy Orton; and will be able to wrestle in an exhibition match either in single-player, or with two players offline. This should give gamers a good taste of what to expect in November when the game launches with several new features including 'Superstar Fighting Styles' and the 'Struggle Submission System'.

"The WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 playable demo on Xbox Live Marketplace will offer players a taste of what the game has to offer prior to its release this November," said Nelo Lucich, vice president of interactive, JAKKS Pacific. "The new Superstar Fighting Styles and Struggle Submission System significantly enhance gameplay, and players can take advantage of Superstar and arena options from RAW, SmackDown and ECW."

I havent played a smackdown game for a while now, so im interested in trying it out. As for the comparisons to which game to get on which plateforum, im gonna have to go with the 360 version, being able to put your own music in the game entrence.

They really need to supply a more in depth run through with the controls, what the heck do I do when i store my fighting style?
Anyway, I like what they've done to it. Given us new and updated animations (RKO, tombstone piledriver etc). And being able to interact more with weapons is what is going to keep me playing this for years to come.....or until the next installment
