More DLC for Naruto: Rise of the Ninja confirmed

360 News | Fancy some Japanese voices?
Ubisoft has announced this morning that they will be providing a Japanese dub for download for their recently released ninja adventure Naruto: Rise of a Ninja for the Xbox 360. The extra voice work will be available free of charge for those that prefer the original Japanese actors.

Naruto: Rise of a Ninja follows the exploits of the young ninja through the first 80 episodes of the series. Sparing any last minute delays, the game should be available on store shelves today, so expect a full review from PALGN in the next few days.

Oh god, he says "Believe it!" in the dub instead of dattebayo? I really don't think I could play this game with the english dub. They should have seriously just left dattebayo in the english dub.

dattebayo doesn't really mean anything, it's just a cheeky slang word he uses. "Believe it!" just crap.

Looks like I hit a nerve. My advice to you; don't take everything you read on an internet forum seriously, especially if it's coming from me.
My advice to you, don't talk ****.

Now, is the game any good?

See, judging DBZ from one or two random episodes is like judging a book by reading a coupole of random pages - there's pratically no way you'd "get it". DBZ had mega story arcs and, while it does seem to be stretched out in places, the show was generally cool.

I was going to ask how the thread got this long, but then I looked at which users had posted more in this thread than others and my questions were answered rather convincingly.

I love the smell of flame war in the morning.

Actually I feel really tempted to get this game myself and I haven't even watched very much of the anime. It just looks like a awesome game, the gameplay looks like fun and the graphics are really beautiful. It looks like alot of work has been put into the game.

However it seems kind of hard to get at least around my area. It was meant to come out today right? Well me and my mate checked around at all the stores and none of them had stock. EB said that they only received one copy.. I really don't understand :/ Well anyway when it does appear again I might pick it up.

I have never watched a single episode of Naruto, I don't even know what the show is about! but this just looks like a great game and something different.

Only if it wasn't released in November, will probably pick it up next month

I remember watching the HD review on IGN and they said this will be the game to play even if you have never watched naruto in your life. This might even get you into the anime hehe who knows.

I am setting up to play it today once i unpack everything from the move..... Damn i hate moving icon_sad.gif

so you played it yet sylar? I like it, it's not totally mindblowing, but i think it's going to take a while to finish it, and it looks great. When you do sexy juutsu at an unsuspecting individual, its quite amusing. Also amusing when you fail shadow clone a few times.........

it's not far off an AAA+++ game though, didn't mean it to sound like it was just above average, it's just below excellent, just. And unfortunately I have to move in December also, not looking forward to that either.
