Another Shadowrun game in the works?
360 News | Forum closure reveals future projects.
FASA Lead Program Manager Kimona revealed last week that the developer will be shutting down the official Shadowrun forums. "We're going to be closing down the Shadowrun forums in about two weeks. As many of you know, the old FASA crew has mostly moved on to other roles within Microsoft, and that means we don't have enough people to monitor and respond to posts here for the coming year," the forum post reads.
However, for fans of the game, all is not lost, as another Shadowrun project is alluded to. "We'll eventually close down www.shadowrun.com and transition it to the folks working on the next generation of Shadowrun products," Kimona goes on to state.
Back in September, it was announced that FASA, developer of Shadowrun, was closing down. Half of all FASA employees have reportedly gone on to find jobs with Microsoft Game Studios, publisher of the first Shadowrun game.
