Timesplitters 3: Future Perfect information

Xbox News | First screens!
Dutch website www.xbw.nl has unveiled new screenshots for the new Timesplitters title, tentatively titled Timesplitters 3: Future Perfect.

As we were told months ago, EA are taking over the publishing rights for Timesplitters 3. However, we weren't expecting screenshots this early.

More information will be unveiled at E3 next week, but for now we leave you with these shots located in the media panel. All of these screenshots are from the XBox version.

For more information stay tuned to PALGN.

It's Future Perfect not Project. icon_razz.gif

It's certaining looking rather nice and there's some continuity with the previous game. I just hope that the 'Normal' mode missions aren't quite as diabolically hard as they were in TS2.

Ever since I did this, I've been hungry for some more TimeSplitters goodness. Hopefully the change in publisher doesn't lower the quality of the game.

Heh, I can't even get past 'Atom Smasher' on Normal mode.

We're in that exclusive club. icon_biggrin.gif I also finished it with 100%, but caused some angry times in the process.

As for the screens, they do look nice, but not much better then TS2 imo.

Woah, I love the look of that psy-hand thing. icon_eek.gif

And that WWII style area looks very interesting. Love that machine gun.

I am so buying this. icon_razz.gif

yep, this definately goes into my wishlist, loving that watch thingy! Vehicles as well, that rocks slightly too much, wonder if it will pick up the same thing that all the other FPS have and allow you to drive them? Anyway, they certainly look rather goofy! icon_cool.gif

If anyone is wondering what Grif means by goofy, it's his new adaptation of the word, basically he thinks it is awesome, but crazy...heh just to spoil his fun.

Anyway this looks amazing. Can't wait, the other two were awesome, maybe this time the map creation feature will be improved. Then I might make some Goldeneye 1p maps.

The graphics don't look any more impressive than TS2, which is a let down, but as long as they get the framerate smooth and fluid, they've got my vote of confidence. And would it kill them to make the bullets fly faster? Is it me, or did the bullets fly really slow in TS2?

Do I see...the throwing of barrels? Ingenious!

Yeah, the bullets looked more like hot BB pellets than bullets, which sucked. icon_confused.gif

I'll be keeping an eye on this one... icon_smile.gif
One thing I didn't like about TS2 was that when you died in a multiplayer match, you were on the ground, spawned and back on your feet in no time. I hope they slow the death down a bit and give it a bit more impact, it'd make multiplayer a lot more enjoyable.

Never finished TS2 with 100%, or even close, by the way. icon_lol.gif
