Downloadable level for Splinter Cell ready for Live launch!

Xbox News | Finished Splinter Cell a million times? Want more of the amazing stealth action? Then 14th March is your lucky day...
Splinter Cell was released with the "Live Online Enabled" marking, meaning it would be possible to download extra levels and other things. To this day we have seen no signs of this "downloadable content."

But today Ubi Soft announced Kola Cell, a whole new level for Sam Fisher fans to download through Xbox Live. It will be available from 14th March, which is very convenient seeing as that's the day Live is launched in Europe.

The new level is linked to the original storyline, but will be a whole new experience and the stunning graphics is of course still present.

This is what Alain Corre, Managing Director of Ubi Soft Entertainment for Europe, Asia Pacific and South America had to say:
"Ubi Soft would like to thank Tom Clancy Splinter Cell fans for their continued support and provide them a free downloadable mission that is just as exciting and intense as the original game. We are psyched that Xbox Live allows us to bring our best content directly to our fans."

Be sure to check out the shots in the media section.

Maybe this is how we will get our games in the future? Instead of sequals coming out, all we'll get is new levels like this.

Naaaaah, companies make too much money off sequels although it would be nice. Microsoft probably paid them to make the extra level to give the Xbox Live launch an extra boost. That's what I reckon anyway.
