New Burnout: Revenge screens line up on grid

Xbox News | Smashing.
EA have released the biggest batch of Burnout: Revenge screenshots yet. And as usual, things are looking as ridiculously, bottom-clenchingly over-the-top as ever. They're also looking rather good, with EA looking set to deliver the kind of visual splendour seen in Burnout 3 and then some. As with that game though, we're guessing you may have to see this in motion to really appreciate what a technical achievement it is.

Anyway, 19 screens for your viewing pleasure are waiting just to the right, full of souped-up vehicles colliding at angles that just can't be healthy. They're Xbox shots, though the game is due on PlayStation 2 as well on September 26, and we're guessing it'll look highly similar on Sony's machine. Once you're done there, maybe go and have a read of our Burnout 3: Takedown review. We liked that one quite a lot as well.
