EA picks up publishing rights to two new games

Xbox News | EA to publish Burnout 3 and Timesplitters 3
In two consecutive days EA has announced they have picked up the publishing rights to both Burnout 3 and Timesplitters 3 This also confirms the development of both games.

The previous incarnations of Burnout were published by Acclaim and now Electronic Arts has picked up the rights. Burnout 3 will be released late 2004 on Playstation 2, Xbox and Gamecube.

Timesplitters 3 has long been in the rumour mill but this annoucement confirms the game's existance, After a two-game partnership with Eidos, Free Radical have moved on. Timesplitters 3 is set for release in 2005.

Great news! More so for GCN owners, as both Acclaim and Eidos distributed a jack sh*t ammount of copies of both BO2 & TS2 in Aus. icon_rolleyes.gif

You know I'm actually quite suprised they have announced BO3 for the GCN.....

It's definatly good news though, as it has confirmed the release of B03 as well at TS3, and while alot of people may not like the idea of EA being publishing it, Free Radical, and Criterion are still behind their games, so the quality will still be there. (Hopefully)
